Research & Evaluation

Antara Consulting provides independent evaluation and research.  This includes community consultation, service mapping and service development.  Antara's Consultants have particular experience in carrying out this work across a diverse range of services and settings in the Highlands.  Examples of recent commissions include:

Evaluation of Princess Royal Trust Highland Carers Project Advocacy Service (2006) on behalf of NHS Highland and The Highland Council. 

Evaluation of Advocacy Highland (2006) on behalf of NHS Highland and The Highland Council.

Evaluation of TAG Highland's service in Caithness (2006).  A review of the training, guidance and support service provided in Caithness to people with mental health and/or addiction problems.

Review of Highland Active Referral Scheme (2007) on behalf of NHS Highland and The Highland Council.  Review of the Highland scheme enabling health professionals to refer patients to specialist fitness advisors for a tailored exercise programme.

Mapping of Drug & Alcohol Services (2007) on behalf of Highland Drug and Alcohol Team.  Mapping of services across Highland providing support to people experiencing drug and/or alcohol problems.

North Wick Community Profile (2007) on behalf of Caithness Regeneration Partnership.  Research into the communtiy profile in part of Wick, providing demographic and socio-economic information along with consultation on community priorities for regeneration.

Caladh Sona Community Survey (2008) on behalf of Caladh Sona Action Group.  Development and analysis of a community questionnaire on social care services and priorities in North Sutherland.
